AMF Panel

An Automatic Mains Failure (AMF) panel is a crucial component in power backup systems, designed to ensure an uninterrupted power supply during a mains power failure. When the main electrical supply is interrupted, the AMF panel automatically detects the loss of power and triggers a backup generator to start, ensuring a seamless transition. Once the generator is running and supplying power, the AMF panel switches the load from the mains to the generator.

Additionally, AMF panels monitor the generator’s performance, ensuring it operates efficiently. They provide functions like engine start/stop, voltage and frequency regulation, and safety protection. AMF panels are widely used in industries, hospitals, data centers, and critical infrastructure, where power continuity is essential. By automating the switching process, AMF panels enhance reliability and reduce manual intervention during power outages.
